Hey there all of y'all,

I love threadless, me. Problem is, I signed up here to get designin' la-dee-da etc, but ended up getting so caught up in the scoring & critiquing rigmarole that I've yet to actually submit any designs myself. Not to mention the likes of FM and A-DMC can make you feel so graphically inadequate, your wilkins actually inverts. Epic Fail!

So, I thought a good way to motivate myself might be to monopolise some blogspace and get my ideas out there thusly. So, if something's not working/been done before, you mighty deities of threadless can shout it down before I invest too much time and energy into it. These are just some proofs of concept - rough sketches that I've done on the tube to work, just faffed with the brightness/contrast in photoshop rather than inking them now and then being bewildered as to how to go through the many necessary corrections. Not putting these into critiques yet, because I'm testing theory more than execution here. Plus, more than one pic apiece and all that jazz.

IDEA THE FIRST: The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse

WAR!
FAMINE!
DEATH!
Imagine them all lined up next to each other. I'll photoshop it later, too enar 2 am (on a work-day!) now. What's caught their eye?
TEMP!
(This could either go where they're looking, or onto the back of the shirt. If the former, then the following could always go on the back)
The Pale Rider

IDEA THE SECOND: Gods Playing Poker

You know that painting of the Dogs playing poker? What if the artist had been dyslexic? What exactly is a polytheistic deity to do all day, when their pantheon has fallen out of fashion? I'm thinking best not to rep any current, major religions, because that's a bit of a sore spot for a lot of folk (I'ma Pastafarian though, so what do I know?)

Quetzalcoatl

Odin, Anubis and some random other god. Problem is, they've all got 5 Aces.

Hullo O beautiful threadlessees,

Just wondering whether any UK-based users might be able to tell me whether or not they've ever had any issues with their orders getting delivered? Basically, ordered a triumvirae-plus-one of awesome tees for the first time ever (employment, woo!), I had my shipping confirmation e-mail come through on the 7th, said Global Priority Mail should take 5-10 days to get here. Now, it's almost 3 weeks later, and no sign of my T-Shirts full of thready goodness yet. There's a minor concern that the postie might have arrived whilst al of the house was away at work, but in those cases, our mailman (his name's Cliff, he's the coolest mailman in the West) leaves a note in the mailbox saying it's either at the neighbours', or to be picked up at the local post office. Not had any communiquees to that nature, so I can only conclude they've yet to arrive.

Just wondering whether this kind of delivery time is par for the course, or whether I should be worried. And if I should be, what's the accepted m.o.? Do I bother one of the mighty threadeities with my mortal woes, or Quoi?

Cheers ears, m'dears.
