so I'm thinking of upgrading my computer, but I'm not sure if I should get a whole new system or just upgrade components. This is where you come in.

Right now, I'm working with this slightly old computer:

Since I bought it, I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate. I feel the need to upgrade it because working with several large Photoshop documents at once causes the program to stop working right after a short while, and it needs to be restarted. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the processor, RAM, graphics card, a combination of those components, or something else entirely.

Naively, I was thinking of upgrading to 16 gb ram and getting a better graphics card. But I'm not sure if my motherboard could support a given graphics card, or just basic facts of graphics cards, in general. I was just going to buy a slightly more expensive one (maybe one with a picture on it. those have gotta be awesome, right?) and expect it to be better.

Any thoughts? What should I do! If you think I should replace it, what do you think I should replace it with? I'm trying to spend less than $2000.]]> Sun, 18 Mar 2012 20:09:43 -0500

I was thinking of doing the other animals like the trees/deer, having them on the big deer's back. they're all leaving 'cause the man is cutting down the trees! there could potentially be clouds drawn on the background at the end? not sure

it also looks neat without color, i think

Brad (Adhesive Hippo) and I are going to be starting on our third collab soon (prob tomorrow), but we were wondering your thoughts.

Basically, the ideas all involve those inflatable men you see outside car dealerships and places with sales and shit. Errr, one moment.



Ahh, there we go. Found one. Yes, so that is the subject matter of our design.

Brad's original awesome idea was that one of those would be an inflatable man zombie shirt, here's his sketch:



Pretty cool. But then I thought about an alternative due to the cliche-y-ness of zombie shirts and a blog recently made in which a bunch of people were like, "We're bored of the cliche-y-ness of zombies." The idea was a criminal inflatable man against a wall with a spotlight on him, like he's been caught by the police.

I ran this by Brad who thought about a few more places an inflatable man could be..." one for the zombies, one for the police, one where he's cheering at a game, one where he's on a roller coaster, one at a concert/club, one where he's stretched out getting tortured/interrogated, etc." in the same style as this

what y'all think?! is it funny? should we pick any of these? if so, which?

if that was tl;dr, the abridged version is:

1. inflatable man attacked by other inflatable men zombies
2. inflatable man criminal against a wall
