What's happened to Threadless? I used to spot all kinds of insanely good t-shirt designs, but like all good things... Suddenly there's stuff on here which is so horrible, only the hip would love it. I still cherish my old Threadless t-shirts because they remind me of better times.

Then again, I was looking back at the old t-shirt designs I did and they were all dissed for being crap. No headphones! No skulls! No dripping paint cliches! The world of design is a strange one full of recycling and repackaging, but there's t-shirts out there which are far too knowing and far too pish to be considered wearable. It's like the floodgates of mush.

I'm going to start posting anti-hipster t-shirts. Hipsters with arrows sticking out their chests. Hipsters garroted by their own iPod headphones. Hipsters losing limbs. Maybe some kind of smart-arse slogan to go with it. Who knows.

All I'm saying is this place used to be the bees' knees. Now it ain't.

Well, one of my two submissions was allow. The disallowed one was this - http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/19896956/ - maybe some copyright issue or something, I dunno. Well, Pirate Lurve is up for you to vote on - http://www.threadless.com/submission/54882/Pirate_Lurve though a spooky coincidence is that a submission called Pirate Love is also up there with the same kind of skull heart/crossbones thing going on.

It's doing a darn sight better than my first submission anwyays. Keep an eye out for my URB submission soon. Thank you for the comments so far, I'll all treat you to a Starbucks or something soon. Honest.

Well, this place has changed a bit. When I was in the realms of regular pay, I was a threadless.com whore. I'd buy t-shirts and the t-shirts gave me love. I loved the t-shirts in return. It was a mutual kind of thing. These days, I'm a freelancer who needs more work and also part of a job with some sporadic pay and some shovels of emptyness. So I'm going to get into t-shirt designing again. Keep an eye out for future submissions. Boredom and lack of money rule my world.
