I'm participating in MRSEC, an REU program hosted by UMN (Minneapolis campus) and just thought I would share this link and picture with everyone.
I'm the one in The Season Has Landed and my friend Melissa is sporting the Spoilers shirt.

Here's the link to the website where you can see the group picture and then individual pictures and (after Friday 13th) you will be able to read our abstracts as well.

I was tickled when I saw the picture and just wanted to share. I'll have to convince Liz and Rob to wear some next time and get a group shot. :)

I really love a lot of the shirts on Threadless. It's been really nice to see creativity being expressed in a countless number of ways- and now I can wear it, too!

I've bought a bunch of the shirts on the site and vote on submissions frequently. I've also had some of my friends buy from the site too after they've seen the shirts I've purchased.

I have some of my own ideas that I've sketched out, but haven't had the time to sit down and produce a workable version of them in Photoshop. But it's finals week, so after this is over I'll hopefully have some time to work on things and finally become one of the submitter-in-crowd. :)

The one drawback to all of this is there are so many shirts I'd love to see printed that never make it. But that's actually probably a good thing or I would be broke from buying every single shirt I like.

This is also the first blog I've ever written for anything, so this in itself is interesting.
