I just received this in the mail yesterday. Yay!

So today, I decided to wear it and show it off.

First thing's first: it fits perfectly. All the shirts I've gotten so far do, but it's just so refreshing when you come across one that does. It's also very light and breathable.

Has anyone else noticed that the numbers are backwards? My Latin class eventually decided that the image was supposed to be as if you were looking out of a clock tower, rather than at a clock tower. CAN you see out of a clock face? I guess. But it doesn't matter, becaue this is still such an awesome design.

I love anything to do with analog clocks, really. It can be so beautiful in a cold, mechanical sort of way. Actually, I think there's an exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art this Spring all about clocks and other timepieces. Mental note: must go see it.

So, in a nutshell: Day 1 + Shirt 1 = success.

Oh Noes!

I just got an email that, sadly, my order for "International Translation" cannot be filled because the size I ordered is out of stock.

I really wanted that one, since I'm going to Italy this summer....

And I suppose it would take too long to get it reprinted before then.

Wait! I know! I will go on a crusade for other sizes I can stuff myself into! This might just work!

I realize that tis shirt is only available in one or two sizes at this point, but I keep coming back to it. It's like a porch light, and I'm the moth. I want it, but I can't have it (at least not in my size). Oh the agony!

It partly has to do with my associations with it. My school took a trip to DisneyWorld, which involved a 20-hour bus ride. At 3 AM, when neither of us could sleep, my friend and I listened to this on his iPod for about 30 times straight. Throughout the rest of the trip, it wa stuck in our heads. It has sort of become a theme song for the trip, and something of an inside joke, minus the joke bit.

So maybe my intense longing for this shirt is somewhat understandable now.

I keep compulsively pressing the "reprint" button. I don't know if my votes count more than once, or if Threadless recognizes that it's the same user each time. I really don't care. It feeds my newfound OCD.

Hell, if it got reprinted and I was the only person who wanted more (which I doubt), I would willingly buy the whole damn lot.

*crosses fingers*

Please, everyone else (not that anyone else is reading this), go and join my crusade to have this shirt reprinted! You will have my eternal thanks. And more lovely tshirts.

So..... first time here.

I have to say right away that I love this site!

Some of the designs are just so awesome, I would look through a thousand pictures of trash just to find one of them. Even if it's time-consuming.

I do wish that some of the older, sold-out designs were available. I know that's what reprints are for, but I have my worries. I mean, just because I request a reprint doesn't mean everyone else will want it, too. And how many votes does a design need in order to be reprinted anyway? *bites nails* Some I just feel like wearing for a week straight, no matter how disgusting that sounds, but are no longer available in my size... (99 Luftballons comes to mind). Woe!

But there are still many that I love that ARE in stock, and I have a shipment of 4 headed my way... Can't wait!

And there are even more designs I love that haven't been voted on yet... I really, really hope they pass. It's one thing to realize that you did not manage to buy the last shirt in stock, and a worse thing to have a really amazing design disappear into obscurity.

Ah, how worked up I can get about t-shirts, of all things! *shrugs*

---------------------------------------------------------------------

And special thanks to Julia, for telling me about this site. XD
