Oh dear

I just went to sign onto my paypal account (that I haven't used in over a year and had no money/accounts on it) and the screen that appears after I log in is all in asian letters and there's a mysterious credit card number.

Someone apparently hacked on my account. Thank GOD I didn't have money on it or any accounts attached to it.

Beware hacking asians.

They may be cute when they're babies, but when they grow up they turn into PayPal hackers.

Some "salesperson" just came to my door asking if we had a security system installed. My brother didn't answer and said we're not interested. He the asked for homeowner, to which he responded, no, the homeowner isn't home.

THEN he asked what sort of car the homeowner drove so he knew when he'd be home. My brother told him "a white truck," to which the "salesperson" responded "ok, so there are three vehicles, and the white one is the homeowners. Thank you, I'll be back!"

Maybe it's just me, but I have a feeling we're about to be robbed. My brother and I are about to leave to see a play, leaving the house empty.

Am I overreacting or was that just odd?

After hours of lawyers popping up with similar objections and questions, a custody hearing for 416 children seized from a polygamist sect finally turned to whether they were abused: A child welfare worker said some women at the sect's ranch may have had children when they were minors, some as young as 13.

The testimony came late Thursday, the first day of a court hearing to determine whether the children, swept up in a raid on the ranch two weeks ago, will remain in state custody. Child welfare officials claim the children were abused or in imminent danger of abuse because the sect encourages girls younger than 18 to marry and have children.
