Schools I've applied to:

Stanford University
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UC Irvine
UC Davis
University of Southern California
Ohio State
University of Hawaii
Hawaii Pacific University

Anyway, I've heard from all but USC, Berkeley, and Stanford (which reminds me that I have ten days until I shoot myself in the head). I received my first rejection today from UCLA (my second choice), but I should have known that I had no chance since I live in Hawaii. I haven't told anyone because I know that a lot of my friends don't think I can get into some of these schools anyways. I've been accepted into all of the others so far, with some pretty nice scholarships and the like.

Of course, the first thing my mother says is "Aren't Berkeley and Stanford harder to get into than UCLA? So if you couldn't get into UCLA..."

I have to decide: Is it better to go to a school that I know will not give me the experience I want but I have a full ride to, or to go semi-broke at a school that I think I might want to go to but I honestly have no real basis of knowing that?

I'm just so confused. Are there any seniors out there that will please keep me company in my distress over what to do with the next four years? Thanks.

UPDATE:
So today I was rejected from UC Berkeley, and I found out that Stanford decisions, which were originally going to be released on April 1, are being released on Friday. Tomorrow. I don't handle pressure well, so today, after receiving my rejection, I got my septum pierced.
