It is the FIRST drawing I did (mostly) with my new Wacom tablet. The process was super fun and I was able to make changes much easier. It was also a good example of the critique blog. Special thanks to everyone who helped me along the way.

AHHHH.... I'm losing sleep over COLOR. How do YOU resolve...??

So, I've been working with the design called circus freak... and I just can't decide on the colors that work best.

BUT - this happens to me all the time?

Is it just me? I didn't fail color theory or anything but sometimes I just can see the solution clearly.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU'RE STUCK on Color LIKE THIS?

Suggestions please!

I'm not going to sleep until I get it right... ahhhh!

UPDATE:

I was surfing through the new subs last night and I saw a sub that was using the same concept that I had been working on. I was totally bummed, I know this happens but all the same I was hugely disappointed.

Hey I just wanted to say that the Critique blog was HUGELY Helpful for my most recent sub... it came a long way with the help of other threadless users that keep after it and went above and beyond to help ME take it to the next level...

Should I delete the design from the critique or does it just stay there until the design is either accepted or denied? uhm?
I see that the submitted version is "Pending" right now as well. Maybe something went wrong? I would guess it should leave the critique Blog after I push it to Threadless for approval ... It's another first for me, your comments will be helpful. : ) Thanks!

After Voting is Completed - How long until you know if it will be printed or not?

I'm new so forgive me if this is obvious. I notice a lot of great tees that have been completed in the voting for several days, even months, and they have not printed. I've marked "watch" and I assume if that tee gets printed I'll be notified or something? But my bigger question is what is the time frame to either print or remove a Design? THANKS for any info on this.

Drawing is not new for me but Threadless is! I have to say it's been really fun checking out with other people say and do... the Critique blog is great! I submitted 5 before discovering it. I've seen shirts go from ok to great and some from ok to better before the critique!

So, have you ever experienced the involuntary thought that happens when you see some Ad or Graphic and the fonts name just comes immediately to mind? Helvetica, Times, or Palentino, or yikes; Comic Sans..." Only now, I see things and think... "Yes; Tee Shirt!". Just yesterday at breakfast I was eating a bagel sandwich with cheese and I lifted the top off and the cheese strings stretched down like the dangling, soft, straggling legs of a jelly fish... Brilliant I thought; Bagel-fish!

Needless to say it's in my sketchbook, along with dozens of other ideas just waiting to be tackled.
