Ok, two things.

-When people say "this is worth 5$" do they mean that it is worth a rating of 5, or that they don't like it and would not pay more than $5 for it?

-When you submit a design, does it enter the pool immediately, or does it take a while? Does it only stay up until the following monday when they pick winners, or longer?

thank you for all serious answers and patience with my ignorance :)

I'm fairly new to this site, and I just bought my first tee shirt. (Squeaked- I love it!) Anyway, I' m completely inexperienced with the whole design process, but I've got a lot of ideas. Some things are just random doodles that I think would make interesting tees, but if I just scan things that I've drawn on the backs of notebooks, obviously that won't be very presentable. So what kinds of software do you design vets use to edit your work? Do a lot of you use macs? And do you draw things, then scan and edit, or start from scratch on the computer? All serious answers appreciated :)
