http://adage.com/cmostrategy/article?article_id=118958

For those who work in marketing or advertising, this is cool. For those who don't, this will be all dorky.

Quick take away:
Web 1.0 brought information access to the masses. With Web 2.0, customers and companies are more transparent than ever before. Online brochures, blogging as pitchman and posing won't work in Web 2.0. When a company starts acting and posing like the demographic it wants to sell to, it's downright alarming.

Still, marketers fail to remember what it takes to excel in the online space: customization, co-creation, use of influencers and personalization.

so i always come to the threadless community when i'm having trouble figuring stuff out.

there's this piece of artwork i saw years ago that mixed photos together. like a busy city as the aisles of a church. it was well done. it looked like it was really taken like that and not photoshopped together.

i can't think of the artist's name. i think i saw it on allposters.com once.

i will be very happy.

Working on a new campaign at work..

What is that theory or story behind the concept that "when you observe an experiment, you can change the results."

Like in sports: when the media and all eyes are on you, it could alter your playing performance and it doesn't make playing so "pure."

Any information or leads would help greaaatly! THANKS

i went to the original site and they had some awesome tshirts that i wanted to get actually but i can't remember the site!

it was some dj i think? something to do with music
