it is the 11th day in a row of 38-40 degree celsius weather. i am shrivelling up!

i work in a cafe and tonnes of old people have been practically living in the shopping centres because it is either too hot, or too expensive to run air conditioners on their pensions. a woman was crying today because her joints were hurting so badly. she was 80 years old! :(:(:(:(

so much land around the city is burning.

anyone somewhere nice and cool?

ø Make my own (tasty!) lemonade - (completed Sunday 10th June 2007, at Jordan's house with him & James, it was actually pretty ok!!! Very sweet, we needed to add more water and perhaps some soda water too, but all in all it was pretty yum!)

o Spend a whole weekend getting pampered in a day spa on an island resort

o See a Cirque Du Soleil show - (completed Saturday July 14th; went to see Varekai at Bonython Park with my family and Jordan. was absolutely everything i had heard and expected, an absolute treat to the senses and such a spectacle. All the performers were so skilled... i dont know how any of that stuff is even humanly possible! found myself talking to god, going... 'look, Lord... look what they can do! look how amazing you made them!!!' made me proud to be human. and the costuming and sets were just stunning. if you ever get a chance to go see something like this, dont pass it up.)

i need ideas. atm im tonnes low on cash (who isnt this time of year) and im keen to catch up with friends and do more than just sit. it seems everything costs money!!! i was inspired recently by ecky ducky's post on the compliment slips, and id so love to do that. but hav u guys got any ideas? any cool ways of amusing yourselves???

I was telling her that a couple of years ago (i wasnt all that young, about 15-16) i was out in the garden playing with the garden fork, ditching it as far as i could and trying to make it still stick up out of the lawn like a javelin... cept at one point i let it go far too late and it lodged itself right through my foot, and out the other side so i was pinned down into the grass.

kinda funny, looking back, LOL! hurt pretty bad at the time =]

my cousins got a bday in a month or so, and i rele wanna get her the tee with the gold shoe with wings, but her size is all sold out, and i was just wondering... how do the kids sizes convert to girls??? like... how big is a kids size 12??? would it fit a girly medium???
