I'm done.
I did 36 days but I done.
I feel pressured and stressed and on bad days i just feel like a crap photographer and i bitch and moan and its just not fun.
I've got tooo much work to do and not enough time to commit to taking an interesting and beautiful photograph everyday. I'm too much of a perfectionist and i'm not strong enough to beat that 'this is so shit' urge.

I love taking photos and im definatly still bringing my camera everywhere but art doesnt happen under constant pressure, or at least mine doesnt.

Its just not worth it.

Thanks to anyone who commented on my photos.

Good luck to everyone who is still going.
Here are some of my favourites:

I have to do this assignment on modernism vs. post modernism and i have to write the features of the New National Gallery by Mies van der Rohe and the Guggenheim Museum by Frank Gehry

its due next monday. i need to find:

A) Materials, functions and stylistic elements of each building (with particular reference to the elements that can be identified as Modernist or Post-Modernist)

B) find a range of statements by both artists on their work with reference to the afor mentioned buildings. and then i have to analyse the statements and record the key ideas relevant to the question of modernism vs. post-modernism

C) IMAGES!!! that relate to the key ideas above. i can also reference works by other architects to support the ideas of my two main architects

D) and then i have to decide which movement is best, basing that opinion on the shit above.

um....help?

[I dont know why this was sent to me but thought I should post it for all the designers out there]

Hello! Don’t Panic would like to invite all artists and designers out there to enter our coming poster competition. The best designs will exhibited at a Don’t Panic exhibition and the king of them all will become the official Don’t Panic poster. The theme for the competition will be ‘Media’ and we are looking for entries inspired by and based around that issue. Your interpretation of the theme can be rendered using graphic design, illustration, photography, type or any medium you can think of which we can print. All posters will be voted on through the website as democratically as possible. When voting finishes the 20 top runners will be judged by Jonathan Barnbrook - one of the UK’s most innovative graphic designers (www.barnbrook.net). All 20 top runners will have their posters exhibited at a special Don’t Panic exhibition. The winner, as chosen by Barnbrook, will have 80 thousand of their posters printed and distributed. Don’t Panic will supply the winner with 20 flat copies without advertising on the reverse. We will also sell 20 signed and 200 unsigned copies via our website and split the revenue with the winner. Winning posters will be printed A2 size (594x420mm) at 300 Dpi. For the purposes of voting and previewing on our website, poster entries uploaded should be:File Format: JPG or PNGResolution: 72 DPIMax Filesize: 2MB Visit the website at www.dontpaniconline.com for more information and make sure you upload your poster as soon as possible, because the longer it is online the more votes it can receive. Good Luck! Don’t Panic P.S.If anyone is interested in contributing to the online magazine please email panic@dontpaniconline.com. We will come articles, artwork, films, tunes or anything with a creative bone.
im really happy. i did it for a whole week. that may not be very impresive for you guys but i never stick to anything. and forcing artistic-ness sucks. im still hanging in there though.

i screwed up though, i realised. i had taken my first photo at 2 in the morning but thought i had taken it the day before. so i ended up taking two for one day but saying it was two days. ANYWAY its all good because the faux day 2 pic was shite so i got to delete it. woop!

how is anyone else who is doing it going?

i am really not making good sentences right now.
