Art College - Did you go?

I have always meant to back to school and get a BA in graphic design and start my career from there, but I am hesitant to get my self into a ton of debt for something I might be able to do on my own. How many of you designers out there are making a living with out art college/secondary schooling, and how many of you are graduated?

I would love to hear different peoples opinions... is it worth it?

It was going to be in the Comics contest, but i failed to submit the correct file (like a doofus), and I had to resubmit into the regular contest!
