I ordered this shirt at 1:00 am on Tuesday morning for my sister's 13th birthday, which is coming up on the 7th of April. Turns out they were out of stock; however, I was not aware of the discrepancy until today when I received my parcel.

Threadless refunded my unfilled order, and also gave me a $5 discount. But consider:

Original order: $9 for the shirt on SALE +$4 shipping + tax = $13.
NORM Price: $17 - $5 (discount) + $4 shipping + tax =$16.

I even checked what the cost would be to buy a new shirt on sale.

SALE Price: $9 (random shirt)- $5 (discount) + $4 shipping + tax = $11

Whoo. Some discount.

Under normal circumstances, I'd be merely disappointed, and patiently wait for a reprint and reorder OR even, order something else. But considering the birthday, which I have less than three days to come up with something so I can mail it to my kid sister, considering the sale, considering the stock, considering the discount that will, ultimately, end up only $1 off on a new order that will take more than a month to be processed -- wouldn't you be annoyed?
