I have not forgotten about any of you, though it may seem so.

I have been slacking horribly and there is no excuse for that, but I want you know that I miss you all dearly and I hope everyone is well. I have a million stories to tell and cannot wait to hear all of yours.

Graduation is soon (hopefully) and I am planning on joining you guys again once the hustle and bustle has settled a bit.

Again, I love and miss you all and wish all the best for every one of you.

I am not trying to take a break from here or you all or anything like that, but school is swamping me and my horses and work are giving me some problems so I have had little time for you people that I love.

Things you did on your 21st

Birthday, not century, though I guess most of you would have done things in the 21st century on your 21st birthday.

Anyway.

I was wondering if you guys did anything special for the big day? A friend's birthday is coming up and I'm not very good with ideas.

Or did you have a different birthday that was memorable in some way?

Also, I hear you all had a great time in Chicago, though I am very glad you are all back!

I've been big into eating fruit salads lately, and I can't find the ultimate combo.

I just made one with bananas, apples, kiwis, raisins, dried cranberries and blueberries with lime squeezed on top and a really nice raspberry vinaigrette, mostly because I was out of red fruit.

But what about you?

Also, I'm mainly using this as an incentive to get my reading done. I only have 10 pages left, but I can't seem to get through them, so I'm not coming back until they are done...

And I love/miss you all enough that I will read quickly.

When you go out with a girl, even if she is only your best friend and you're just going out because you moved away and are visiting and it doesn't mean anything that you go and order beers at a romantic restaurant, tell her she looks pretty anyway. Even if she knows she looks pretty because she is wearing a super cute dress and her hair looks amazing for once and she's lost weight, she still did dress up for you. Also, don't ask her to pay for a bill where you got multiple beers and an appetizer and she only got a water because that's not just unromantic and unfriendly, it's kinda rude. It also makes her look super bad when you leave her for 20 minutes to run back to the car to get your ID because you have to have a beer, and you leave her sitting by herself lookin' all cute outside at a table where the waiter asks her after 10 minutes if she thinks she's been stood up.

I apologize, but I did look super hot tonight.

Also, I am not apologizing for being hot in the above statement, I am apologizing for feeling I have the right to complain based on my good looks.

Note One: I've noticed that a lot of people like to talk about food. This observation may seem strange, but, since I'm really self conscious of my weight, I don't usually like to talk about food or meals or whatever. But I've been running errands for my job for the past couple days, and I noticed that someone, at every place I went, was talking about food of some sort. Just something I found interesting.

Note Two: I saw someone signing (sign language) while they were driving. This seemed dangerous and I wonder, if a cop saw them signing with both hands, if they would be pulled over. Just something I pondered deeply about, which caused me to run a red light, and luckily, not get pulled over.

What do you tell an 11-13 year old who talks about suicide and doing drugs?

I know a lot of it is for attention, but I still have to do something about it since she seems to have adopted me as her older person to talk to.

I was suicidal at her age, and, thinking back, I can't think of anything anyone could have said to me to make me feel better.

Ugh. Help?

I judge people by their ring tones.

Do you have any fun ones? Some that are reserved for special people?

My main ring tone is the beginning from "Satin In A Coffin" by Modest Mouse, and then my bosses who are kinda redneckish have a country song.

What about you? If you were to call me, your ring tone would sing out "IN THE NAMEEE OF LOOOOVEE"
