I came up with the idea when I realized that the UV inks respond to the same thing plants and flowers do, sunlight! So I started this whole idea with a single large tree that blossomed, but I kept getting feedback in the critique section saying it looked way to similar to Dan Rules "Tree" design. I kept playing with the idea of plants blossoming and finally it clicked in my mind, that during the solstice areas of the World go from a white winter to a colorful blossoming summer. I figured since my last printed design Homage To The Hunter was a wintery scene, I would continue a similar style. After about a couple of weeks of hashing things out, this is what manifested.
