okay, so, maybe "best feeling in the world" is not entirely true, as i'm pretty sure there are some greater things out there waiting for me, but, y'know. chalk it up to liberal use of hyperbole :)

what am i talking about? coming home and finding a package from threadless waiting on your doorstep, of course. that feeling. three new tshirts for me!

there were other things about today that made that threadless feeling even better, too. small things. like the weather cooling down after some summer storms; a quiet afternoon nap; the cute boy at the coffeeshop smiling and chatting with me; a full arc of a rainbow in clear view from my street...

so the shirts - dinner in the sky, pexe, and star light, star bright.

when i was ordering the shirts, i was most excited about dinner the sky (i mean, come on, it's pink!), and i was not so excited about star light star bright (almost didn't buy it).

now that i have the shirts in front of me though, i must say star light, star bright is pretty amazing. it glows in the dark!! i knew that it would, but, actually seeing it happen is something else altogether. i guess the seven year old in me will never get tired of that bright neon green in the middle of a dark room- just that excitement of something glowing. pretty awesome. and the wishes on the shirt- i think everyone feels that way sometimes.

dinner in the sky- a beautiful shirt, to be sure, though the design is bigger than i had thought it would be. i'm looking forward to people asking me about that shirt... i will definitely have fun with the explanation!

pexe- my first shirt on silver, and i'm still deciding if i really like that particular shade or not. but the look on that fishy's face is so priceless, and i love the design so much, that i know it'll be one of my favorite tees.

as usual, i am not in the least disappointed with my threadless purchases. can't wait to wear them :)

so i'm going to the decemberists concert tonight at the uptown theater (kansas city, mo), and i really wish i had the decemberists loves tshirt to wear to it... but unfortunately i thought the shirt was a little too creepy for my taste. cool and fitting, but creepy... so i never bought it.

but hopefully someone else will be wearing it, and i will squeal and be like, OMG Threadless!!!! actually no. i wouldn't do that. because i am not a 13 year old girl. but i would definitely say something :)

also, i think it would be awesome if the decemberists sold this tee at their concerts. that's probably against some sort of threadless rule, but... y'know. it would be neat :)

so, i've been raving about threadless pretty much nonstop since i joined in october. my friends are probably getting tired of hearing me go on about it and being forced to look at tshirts i show them on my ibook.

but- one of my friends actually bought a tee today. the first of my friends to do so- yay! i was super excited. and i told him it was going to be a bonding experience- our friendship made stronger by threadless. $3 off my next shirt is of course an added bonus. :P

threadless- spreading joy to all :)

so, i went to the shins concert in lawrence, ks the other day, and i saw someone wearing the pandamonium t-shirt. i got super excited- this was my first threadless sighting. i of course was wearing a threadless tee as well (sailing the high trees). unfortunately, pandamonium guy didn't see me/notice my t-shirt :\

...i'm guessing this gets less exciting as you see more. meh, i had fun with it.
