So I'm still new, and I'm attempting to sub after being rejected (but they didn't tell me what the problem is so i'm assuming I did something wrong). I was also told to be more specific with my help requests. Here are a few things I'm curious about.

1. Should by thumbnail be a close up shot of the shirt, or a smaller version of the entire shirt.

2. On the score pages the pages are often very deccorated with choices of colors and such, are they submitted this way? or is that something you do later?

3. Using Adobe Illustrator, after you choose what colors to put your design on, do you delete the rest of the color layers? Do you need to include the other colors in the main area of the submission? (Basically should it look similar to the extra fancy ones on the score pages)

These are my basic questions. Answers or tips for any and all of them would be helpful. I probably will never get accepted for scoring but hey a girl can dream right?

So i'm new to the whole t-shirt designing thing. What's the secret? How do you all get designs accepted and made? Besides being creative, or a good artist, are there other ways to make your t-shirts look more presentable? I'm still attempting to figure out my adobe illustrator (30 day trial mind you), and I must say I turned in two designs (both simple and similar) which I'm sure are well below threadless par. So tell me great ones, what's the deal?

I was attempting to submit a design for the Last Kiss contest, but I couldn't get my trial version of Adobe Illustrator to save as a GIF or anything like that. Not to mention I'm having MAJOR issues getting it to do what I want. I'm a total Newb at this and I'm not sure I like that. Any tips or websites that might kick start my threadless career?
