My best friend ordered me the Robot Dance Contest shirt for my birthday (which I think is one of the best designs ever. It really makes me LOL.) But she ordered is last week...and it hasn't come yet.

Sorry for the random complaint. I'm just going to have to ask her to track her order.

Also, it's been about 8 days since I submitted my design. And it's still pending approval... Will I get an e-mail saying that it's been denied in anyway?

Help meeeeeeeeee. ;P

So, my birthday is September 11, which has already passed. A lot of reflection was going on about what happened 5 years ago so I guess this is where I reflect too.

From a celebrant's point of view:

Diana and I were in her CRV on our way to the VCU campus. It was just after 7am because we had to be on campus before 8am. I was flipping through radio stations to find some music to listen to. I came across one of the stations giving a news report about a plane crashing and sounding really intense about it. Not thinking, I switched it impatiently because I couldn't find any music to listen to. I think I eventually put in a CD.

I got to campus and went to the commons area and saw some of my newly made friends. The ones I could remember in the circle I was standing in were Kristine, James, (when they were still going out. hahaha.) Allan Valencia, Allan Bolipata. I came walking towards them and said "Hey guys! It's my birthday today!" but before I said that, everyone was staring at the TV's that were bolted near the ceiling not really thinking about what they were watching. Allan B. cuts me off and says "DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING!?!?"

So I stood and watched the TV with everyone, watching my whole 18th birthday fall apart.

It was my 18th birthday for goodness sake. I thought to myself "I can finally go to a club!" but my day was total shit. TOTAL SHIT. I don't think I'm being selfish for saying that was probably the worst birthday ever. I recieved flowers from my family saying they couldn't be there. (It was on a Tuesday, so naturally they couldn't) I spent my real birthdate in the apartment with Diana when she wasn't on the phone with her then boyfriend. After recieving the flowers, I just remember having nothing to do at the apartment. Everyone was either at home or not wanting to go out.

Fast Forward:
But this past birthday, it was great because a lot of people showed me a lot of love. I was surprised. I don't know why, but I was. Thank you to all who wished me a happy birthday through text, AIM, myspace comments & messages, and voicemails. You all are the best.
