The large stone statues, or moai, for which Easter Island is world famous were carved during a relatively short and intense burst of creative and megalithic activity... They are also identified as "Easter Island Heads". Why did they do them? Why that big Eyes?

Road signs in our own country usually become part of the landscape around us. We see them but barely acknowledge them, and probably couldn't describe them to someone if asked. But a visit to foreign land, and everything changes. Their form and shape, the pictograms they employ, the colors they use: suddenly they become one of the reason to travel, something to collect wherever we go.

So always watch-out for the road signs around us with new perspective. They're intended as an international means of communication. They give travelers all kinds of insights into the country or region they are visiting.

And they won't only make our trip faster or safer, but if we pay attention, road signs will also make our travels a lot more interesting. Sometime we will find the silly/funny signs and if we can take a shot it will be one of our unforgettable experience. Nothing beats boredom as much as finding road signs that are just plain funny or sometimes even flat out ridiculous. The road is often filled with these types of road signs, just waiting to be discovered.

For us to find funny road signs, of course we have to be on the highway. Make sure to bring our trusted camera to capture the funny road sign moments.

Drive Safely! This is priority number one. Although we are looking for funny road signs, make sure that we are also looking for the non-funny (correct) ones.
