My computer absolutely grinds to a halt every time I try to work with this sub, probably because the file is ginormous. So I'm taking a break for awhile and figured it wouldn't hurt to put it up here. Let me know what you think, if you like.

Sorry for the poor quality of the jpg.

EDIT, Dec. 12, 2006: I'm somewhat frustrated at this point. No matter how much I try to compress the file, it's still too large for me to submit. If any of you have a tip or two for making the file smaller (it's not vector, sigh, I've learned my lesson) I'd be real grateful.

My average score for subs is exactly 2! At least until the in-progress one finishes. I know no one cares, but I am bored and thought it was interesting.

SUB | SCORE | VOTES | COMMENTS
Blind date compromise | 1.96 | 2020 | 40
One lump or two? | 2.08 | 1844 | 25
Come with me | 1.75 | 1939 | 34
Got change for a fish? | 2.45 | 1990 | 31
Until we are ashes | 2.13 | 2138 | 46
Emo shaming | 1.63 | 2193 | 27

1.96 + 2.08 + 1.75 + 2.45 + 2.13 + 1.63 = 12
12/6 = 2

Let's be honest here: I had fun drawing it, and think it fits the theme decently, but I can't imagine anyone actually wanting to wear it. I mean c'mon, it's a toddler wearing his underwear on the outside and holding a stuffed rabbit.

Oh well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Vote/comment if you feel like it, then go buy a shirt once the sale starts!

I've 5'd 48 designs out of 1217 (3.94% 5s), so I suppose I'm more in the middling range.
The Random Number Generator has spoken. Winner = RainbowBrite! If there is in fact a sale today, you will be getting some STP in the near future. Thanks for the comment. :)

Update:

Kojima pointed out my design's similarities to Pilihp's Snack Time at the Zoo. I know they're playing on the same idea, but I hadn't seen Snacktime before and the two designs are pretty different, so I'll still be submitting mine.

Sonjordan was right that the two oranges are supposed to be the same, and that will be fixed in the final sub.

That said, would you like to name it?
Comments and suggestions for improvement are especially welcome and appreciated!

but as a poster. I mean, I like it on a t-shirt, it's friggin' adorable regardless, but I'd rather have it up on my wall, greeting me every morning.

Off-topic:

I know Threadless is a t-shirt company, but if they were ever in the future to expand, I'd be up for buying prints of some of these awesome designs. Then again, I guess that would require a 300 dpi or vector-only minimum for design submissions, which is a bit much to ask.

I figure that with such a huge population of artists, there must be at least a few other folks here who read webcomics. What are some of your favorites? And does anyone here draw a webcomic?

Some of my likes:

Questionable Content
TracerBullet's Pintsize avatar is what made me think to post a blog about this in the first place. Both the art and the humor in this one have become great since it started, and I'm really impressed by it. I would SO visit Coffee of Doom.

Wapsi Square
I can't help but love the style he draws in and the fact that me makes a point of featuring different body types and lifestyles. And anything that features the Aztec god of alcohol can't be bad!

The Devil's Panties
No, it's not porn! It's hilarious and, so far as I can tell, a pretty good glimpse into the artist's life. I really like her style. She also posts non-cartoon art every week or two, which is nice.

Dr. McNinja
Okay, considering the popularity of ninjas and pirates here to the point that they were excluded from Threadless Loves Threadless, I think it's very worth it to post this link. The two factions have an awesome battle in one of the storylines.

Sequential Art
I can't believe I forgot this one the first time around! Comic #1 is actually my desktop wallpaper. Normally I'm not into comics featuring anthropomorphic animals, but this is love.

Now, your turn. Favorites?

The longer list, added as you name 'em:
