I'm sure someone has already made a post about this, but I'm working on a comic for my final work in graduate school, and am heavily in need of a large format scanner that's compatible with Mac. Any suggestions? Affordability is a huge issue as well :)

So, I've been swamped with graduate work, and finally created a piece which I think works excellently as a shirt. AMAZING POWERS OF AGING:

So, I recently completed over 100 illustrations for this book: Barbarians: A Handbook For Aspiring Savages, and Benjamin Chadwick, the author who co-wrote the book with real life Barbarian Grute Skullbasher, came up with a t-shirt concept. Since the book, I've been wanting to make a t-shirt design about barbarians, and think this is pretty funny.

The main concept is a barbarian in the typical pose used for fantasy posters, getting shocked by electricity.

Here's the first rough:

Let me know if you guys would:
A. Find this funny.
B. Have any suggestions for what I should add, change, for the next stage of the design.

UPDATE:
Totally took your advice, and just made a rad barbarian shirt, with a pile of pop cultural rubble beneath him! Parody of every barbarian poster! Let me know what you guys think!

I've spent 4 years on a 128 page graphic novel for a publisher who has decided to bow out on publishing it. Which, pretty much, was a bit soul crushing. It's a good book, and yet I'm back to square one having to pitch it to publishers and most require an agent. Anyone know or have a literary agent they might suggest? Better yet, a publisher? Figure it's worth a shot.

I've been absent from threadless for a while, mainly doing illustrations for a book I did for Insight Editions titled "Barbarians: A Handbook for Aspiring Savages!" which is due for release in October, but you guys should all pre-order and support, if you're into things which are AWESOME. I should have over 105 illustrations featured in this book, and it's insanely funny. Also, here's a sneak peak at the artwork on the cover:

PRE ORDER "BARBARIANS: A Handbook for Aspiring Savages" by clicking this amazon link Pre-Order Barbarians at Amazon.

I've also been really inspired to get some shirt designs going again, so expect some process blogs, and new designs to be posted soon. I love you guys at threadless, and am looking forward to subbing and participating on the blogs again really soon!

I don't tend to like getting political on threadless with designs, but feel very moved by what appears to be the blatant suppression of the freedom of press by the United States. Hopefully many on here feel equally outraged, and would want to sport their outrage as a stylish shirt:
