...So I can cut off the boring t-shirt sleeves and make a raglan-sleeve baseball shirt out of it for my husband. I love it when everyone leaves the cool designs in 2XL for me to snap up on sale!

As a garden geek, I have loved the Happy Harvest design since it first came out, but let's face it...that is one HUGE print to wear on a t-shirt.

So, as I did with my Paper Tiger and Chinese Peaches shirts, I ordered Happy Harvest in Guys' 2XL so I could promptly cut it up and make it into something more attractive and unique.

Check it out:

The upper and lower bodice were made using McCall's pattern M5380 and the skirt was cut from New Look pattern NL6375.

Chinese Peaches is possibly my favorite design at Threadless, but I decided that I didn't need any more fitted girly tees in my closet, and ordered the shirt in Guys' 2XL the last time there was a $10 sale.

Then I cut it up into a cute skirt using Simplicity pattern S5353 and stitched it up in about 30 minutes.

I may stitch the original artist label back into the waistband in the future. :)

I bought Paper Tiger in 2XL about 4 weeks ago because it was the only size left once the shirts went on sale for $10. I clearly couldn't wear it as shipped, so I snipped it up using a Simplicity pattern and made this in about an hour and a half instead:

I have too many regular tees anyway. ;)
