When I came up with the idea for this design I have to admit I laughed out loud to myself. I like the mix of old school meets art education and the fact that not everyone gets it makes it even more interesting to me. Seeing this design made into a print is exciting to me as well as it brings it all right back to it's concepts roots.

Ren� Magritte is by far my most favorite surrealist artist. I was awe struck by his work when I saw it on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1992 (only the third time his art has been on display in NYC). That coupled with the fact that I have loved gaming since the early days of Atari and still do at *cough*32+*cough* years old... Well lets just say I got a 'warped' sense of humor. Get it? Warped? Like a warp pipe in Mario.. anyone? Ahem....

I'm so happy it got printed. I love threadless, I love this community and I love the talent around here. From day one I was thrilled to be involved with such a diverse group of artist and art appreciators. I'm honored for the opportunity to have been selected as a winner and doubly so to be printed again as... well, a print. Thank you everyone and thank you Threadless!!!

My friends I miss you all. Times have been hard in my life. I am going through a divorce and even though it was my decision to leave the marriage it still does not make it any less hard to go through. I have little girl that just turned 4, she is my light as she is her daddy's too.

Internet has been hard to come by lately and just strength. I feel very sad lately and anxious but I am still strong. I miss my good friends from here and hope you wont forget me. I lurk and plan to pop in from time to time. I leave with a snippet of something I wrote recently...
