So I bought this for my mom for Christmas this year, and I have to say that the graphic here does not do this shirt justice. It's a seriously awesome design, with all of the little bits -- beavers, maple leaves, etc. -- done not in one flat colour, but in a textured ink that actually goes in differing directions in little squares. The effect is that it looks even more like it is knitted of wool, and it is incredible.

So my hat goes off to Tiffany Malakooti and Threadless for this "sleeper" design.

Way cool.

So as some people are aware (if you're following this year's Secret Santa blogs), Justin White, AKA Jublin, was my Secret Santa!

In honour of that fact, and to show off the cool art he sent me, I did product shots of the three Jublin shirts I'd not yet done pics for...

Thanks again, Justin, for a way cool Secret Santa package. Merry Christmas, Joyous Solstice, Happy Hanukkah, etc.!

The highschool where I teach is ridiculously uberjock. Frequently I complain that we don't devote anywhere near the attention to academic success that we give our athletics. But our administration is made up of all ex-PE teachers. So you can guess where that gets me.

The coolest part of wearing this to school is that it's printed in my school colours: green and gold.

Great design, way cute, and I love the double meaning in the title!

I do wonder where the kids' sizes are, though...

Congrats to jinosan on a great design. This is awesome, and I'd love to wear it. Alas, as a big fat bastard, that placement just doesn't do it for me. I guess this is kind of the equivalent of the ladies' boob-placement blogs!

ORIGINAL POST:

Heya.

Okay, some of you may be aware that I recently decided to give away some shit that was cluttering my life. The "some shit" in question were Star Wars figures. Well, I have more.

These are all new-ish figures (from 1999 on), out of the box, in good shape, and there are seven Phantom Menace figures (including everyone's favourite, Jar Jar Binks!) and seven figures from the original trilogy.

For the first round, I gave 'em away to the first people to ask for 'em. This time, I will be giving away fourteen random figures to the fourteen people who can summarise a Star Wars film (good ones -- ie, original trilogy -- or bad) in a Haiku.

Read the caveats below, then go for it!

_______

CAVEATS:

These figures are random! Don't ask for a specific one, kid, or you'll find yourself floating home.

...and toyless.

Remember that a Haiku has 3 lines with 5 syllables in the first and third lines, and 7 syllables in the second.

_______
