So does anyone have any tips for scoring that sweet product pic spot for a shirt and getting ones reward of 10 Street Team points? I have a crudload of shirts coming in over the next bit, so I figure it's time to get busy, grab the camera, find the muse, and get to WORK.

Some ideas I've been thinking of to make sure I score the perfect picture each time:

-make sure the picture matches the theme of the shirt - for We're Not Savages, for example, have all your friends dress up (well, down really...) like they're stranded on an island, masks and all, and have them pointing sharp sticks (cardboard tubes) at the one person who's in the middle, rocking the shirt

-make sure the picture's interesting - do something that you haven't seen done before

-make sure it's a good picture - that's right, no more webcam shots - get out there and do something BANANAS! (b-a-n-a-n-a-s!)

Anyone else feel like dropping any jewels of wisdom or nuggets of knowledge on this one?

Hey guys and gals, here's a question for you.

How do you rock your Threadless?

After hanging out on Krakaboom's Thriftee Blog pretty much since the time he first posted it, I've ended up with tees of varying sizes.

My standard, Guys L.
But I ordered some Guys XL (I haven't got them yet, but they're coming).
I even got a Girly XL, since I had this incorrect notion in my head for a while that I was a Guys M, and it would be somewhat equivalent.
I even remember my very first tee being Spoiled! in a Guys M.

But since I have so many different sizes happening (never again... never again...), I know I'm going to have to wear the shirts at different times.

I mean, can I even rock the Girly XL outside of my house? It's basically at muscle tee status, but I'm not a bodybuilder, so that doesn't totally work. Maybe as an undershirt under a zip-up hoodie so that no one ever notices just how short the sleeves are?

The Larges work with pretty much anything I own, but I'm interested in seeing just how long those XL shirts are going to be, and if they're going to have to be housewear or if I'll need to find some creative way to show them off....

How do you all rock your Threadless?
Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Does that still apply for posting images in the comments? I seem to be having some issues!

I love Threadless Mondays. They give me the opportunity to wrestle with my wallet, and my sense of reasoning, as I try to figure out just how much I like a shirt. Some shirts will cause me to scream like a little schoolgirl, high off of a whole pack of pixie sticks, as she tries her best to hide her crush on the school hunk (yeah, let's stop the allegory there...), while others I need to mull over. While I love the concept here, it's a mull over, because I personally am not too big on Reservoir Dogs. The movie's alright, I figure, but I'm more of a Pulp Fiction kinda guy, followed by Kill Bill, Volume One, if only for the cool fight scenes. I think I'll see who loves the movie, so I can point them in this direction, because it's hella cool.

EDIT: I'm going to buy it on the principle that a crudload of people are going to recognize where it's from, probably ask where I got it, and then a StreetTeam link can be passed out. Oh, the genius. Oh the sheer genius. I shock myself!

So yeah - I'm starting to get a bit more involved in Threadless now - as time passes, I find more and more that you can't find very many cool T-shirt designs up here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Sure, if you're into the rock scene, emo scene - you guys got stuff. I can't say that I really blend too well into those genres - I need things that are a little different to best accentuate my eccentricities. I find myself making frequent trips down to Buffalo, NY to appease my need for fashion that separates myself from the crowd - but is it enough?

Now that I've started up full-time work and have yet to move out, get a steady girlfriend, and all those other things that apparently I should be doing, I find that Threadless helps keep me busy. I'm still waiting for another reissue of Don't Play With Matches to replace the Large I'd gotten a while back and couldn't quite fit - no matter what anyone tells you, remember this next time you travel: Canadian sizes are slightly smaller than American ones. Then again, I guess it depends on the type of clothing. I find that I fit into a Large short-sleeve, yet a Medium long-sleeve. Man. Why can't they all be the same cut?

Anyway, enough rambling for now. Until next time, fellow Threadies!
