Of all my threadless shirts (the 9 I own), Loch Ness Imposter is definatly the crowd favorite. I wore it for the first time today (I got it on Wednesday), and I got more compliments than any other shirt I have. I think it's that fact that this design is easy to understand, and there's no one who could misinterpret it as offensive.

Well, it's that time of year again. That's right; exam time, looking forward to summer time, and most of all yearbook time. As school draws to a close, I'm sure we will all be reciecing our yearbooks soon, and will begin the time honoured tradition of signing yearbooks. But this year, I want you to make a difference and to write something truthfull. Encourage your friends to do this also, and sign the following to show your support and committment to abolishing the abmonination that graces the inside covers of so many yearbooks today.

So, I'm happy.
Why? you ask.
Well, it's because this week I'm powering through voting for a slew of good designs. But wait, you may say, how is this different? Well, about 2 weeks ago, the designs were complete crap! (Most of the ones I saw anyway [no offense]). It seriously made me stay away from threadless all last week. But now, I'm glad to be back and voting for some really cool ones. Let's keep up the good work.

I'm sorry to say this, but things like democracy can be well-meaning, but can have some really dumb practices. Take voting, for example. The problem with voting is it lets complete dumbasses voice their opinion - "I'm republican/democrate, I should vote for Bush/Kerry"- NO!!! Voting needs to mean alot more than that, which is why I think that there needs to be a test to show that voters know the canditates and the issues before they vote. So...
If you all are truly smart, then you would understand realslimnatey's slogan "I don't have any friends, just alot of enemas" and you would do the intelligent thing of voting for it.

Ok, these bands are awesome, most of them are google/iTune-able, but if you can't find them give me a heads up and I'll send you some help.

1. Lotus Child - Local band here in Vancouver, just about to put out their second CD. Bunch of senior highschoolers who I've known about for a bit and have totally awesome songs

2. The Raconteurs - New band who've been prominantly featured on iTunes; They were the free download 3 weeks ago and their CD came out last week. Definatly worth listening to, and if you don't want to try the whole CD, download "Hands"

3. Deirdra Flint - Folky-type singer, found her after listening to a podcast. Her songs are comedic, but not in an Arrogant Worms sense. She has a very clever song titled "Food", if you need a sample.

4. Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers - Another band I found from the same podcast. Very accoustic, somewhat similar to Lotus Child. Apparently they're known in the east. I find their music very fun so hope you will too. (Note: these guys are not on iTunes)

5. (this is the new one after edit) Dispatch - the two good singles to download are The General and Elias. This band isn't on iTunes, but their website is pretty up to date. Really good accoustic type music.

This is just my opinion and I haven't mentioned alot of other bands I think are awesome. These are just ones I'm mentionning specifically today, because I feel like it.
Peace,
