A new submission is up, finally, and I think I have found a bit more of how I would like to render my thoughts. The transition from paint to digital is difficult when I am used to all of the subtle and soft adjustments I can make with tactile media.

This design only comes from a random image in my head, but I as watching a lot of Deadwood while doing the sketch.

Life has been quite the melee action for the past few months and it has finally culminated in the realization that I need to use my degree just a tad more. So, while I work on painting and working out stories it's a good time to come back here and have some fun looking at great designs and contributing what I can come up with.

Ursos Arctos will be up whenever approved, the spelling with Ursos is just a very nerdy and subtle play on SOS being at the end and the bear is obviously removing her from a dark situation in the forest.

Hey guys.
My submission is blurry (even after attempts of resizing and previewing in Photoshop) and it kills me because I know that counts, so hopefully there are a few peeks at this sharper view.

link: Impasta higher res

and I am really new at this because it looks blurry when I post it in the blog, but not on photobucket, so I am going to have to link.

After 5 grueling years of art school servitude I am on my own. On my own without a scanner, canvas, job, and maybe things look a little less than stellar. But, but, my mind is free to wander and create ideas and I can finally have time to be active in the Threadless community, if I can get that scanner...

Until then, I submitted one card I had up my sleeve that my design instructors (who dabbled in the t-shirt biz) got a big laugh out of and encouraged me to try and print.

Well, in my mind I always say if they print/re-print a purple tee and I like the graphic, I have to buy it. This adds a third Threadless tee of the purple spectrum to my closet. I guess it can be a positive thing I am so picky about color or I would be buying way too many shirts from this site.
