aposiopesis - a sudden breaking off in the midst of a sentence, as if from inability or unwillingness to proceed.

So I've got a slogan yada yada i heard the word and looked it up and thought this would be something for the threadless

other than that i will catch you all up on my current events - i've been living in texas in a little town on a ranch for about 4 months now - i just recently got a job at a local newspaper doing ad work

first - i never knew even for a small town paper how much work actually goes into making a newspaper

second - the company i work for is called the Graham Leader in Graham Texas - the place actually prints 5 newspapers for the area - and also produces and prints about 4 other quarterly magazines/community guides for the area - pretty fun stuff

third - i had 2 irish car bombs and am ready for bed

fourth - i'm going to ft worth in a couple of weeks for my ladies bday and cant wait for a little bit of city life

fifth - i am hoping to actually make another design soon when i find time from working at the paper and working on the ranch and doing side work for my old company as well

sixth - we've recently gotten 3 new long horn cows and 2 chickens

seventh - i wish i had money to buy shirts during this sale since i missed the last one

so i quit my job and moved to texas to live on my parents ranch - they just built a second guest house so i thought i'd give simple livin a try - we are about 50 yards from the main house so its not like i'm really living with my folks but i'm mooching off their land for sure and dont have to pay rent so i am kind of a slacker

i will still get to do freelance work for my old job though which is nice so i dont have to worry about a real job for now - eventually we are going to move to austin or ft worth not sure which yet we like both places

my girlfriend and i made a road trip out of the move and camped at the grand canyon for 4 days - most fun i've had in months - and of course our dog buster the beagle made the journey with us as well

so we are in breckenridge texas, about 2 hours away from ft work which we've been to several times already and will be back there on the 14th of this month to check out bass hall

just thought i'd share some photos from the trip and some from the livin on the ranch so far since i havent been on threadless in some time and i actually miss the daily fun even if i just lurk and i hope to start subbing some stuff again

plans for the money?

its gonna be difficult to not just blow this on junk

i'm gonna buy a plane ticket home for a visit with the folks taking my lady with me so she can see how the other half lives

and possibly when she gets hers we will put some aside together to buy a new 37 or 42 inch tv we already have some money saved up for it

its just perfect timing as my account just reached zero and i dont get paid until next week

i was bored so here are some samples of seps i've done recently

i didnt create these just did the seps on them

if i do anything cool i'll try to update this

did the seps on this one last week, it just got up on the press last night

scan of the original to work from - it was a 4 by 6 postcard

this is a straight 4 color process print
cmyk plus a white bump since its going on natural shirts

the characters, money and words are 4 color process
the background is simulated process

4 color process with color bumps
you can add color bumps on top of the 4 color process to make some colors stand out more
i think i did a grey and blue bump
