A while back, during the holiday sale, I had ALMOST won a ton of stuff from the threadless junk drawer. i was very sad. Then julia told me she would send me some of her junk if i wanted :) So I got a cute kitty card and inside was a mix just for me and 4 threadless postcards (2 afternoon delights, a FITA and an mp(3))!! I almost have all 5 now :) just missing nuts! (I have FITA and my boyfriend has mp(3) shirtwise so its cool to see the postcards of 'em in person!)

I'm definitely gonna check out the mix right now :-D

Right after I got my presents in the morning, I stuck my new winter hat in my room so my cats wouldnt get at it. It is a tiger print "fargo" hat and had these strings that ended in pompoms so you could tie the hat tight; 25 bux at macys...might not sound expensive to some, but it was on sale and I never spend that much on a hat.

Earlier today my dad made me move all my presents into my room, they were put into gift bags for easy carrying. Not too long ago, he told me to clean up stuff. I was taking stuff out of the bags when i saw my pompoms in it, minus the hat! Then I realized the hat brought was brought down earlier in a box with some other stuff i got after the hat yesterday! While I was sleeping, the cats had broken into my room, took the hat out of my room, dragged it upstairs, then chewed through the string in at least 2 different places!!!

The middle string is still missing...my mother hasnt come home yet, but im sure she knew about it and didnt tell me once she got to her job :( Ruined!!!]]> Wed, 13 Dec 2006 14:15:54 -0600

I'm getting a new lightweight mp3 player for xmas so i can actually run with one. I have it down to two: a 4gig i-pod nano or a 4gig sandisk sansa e260R.

The ipod is quite self explanatory. The price is $199 and comes with a docking station and a $25 gift certificate. After a getting an extended warranty, it comes to about $230. The biggest problem is that i currently use one kind of jukebox and i can only use itunes for this one. Id hafta reburn all my cds too. Oh, and its real expensive, even on sale...

The sandisk sansa is only .3inches thicker and one ounce heavier than a nano. It is $129. It is more compatable with what i have set up on my comp already, as i have a creative zen player (40 gig) and the sansa can use any other jukebox system. I could also use it with my college's ruckus subscription and maybe get some tunes on it b4 the trial period ends. However, you cant transfer playlists or something. I still dont understand that and I don't think it's a big deal. Also unlike the ipod, it has a removable/replaceable lithium-ion battery, which is good for easy fixing. But it does not come with a dockingstation or adapter; it can only be charged thru an active computer. We found an adaptor from a different company that works with it for $26.99, but we're not familiar with that company.
