Does anyone know what the Threadless policy is on "selling" our winning $250 worth of t-shirt code?

The sad truth is... I won years ago and I just don't see myself using it but am flat broke and could use the cash. So I'm curious if there's an 'official' (or even un-official) guideline for trying to trade / sell it for cash.

Yes, yes I do wish that.

I found a comment by iDan on someones sub that said "stop spamming" and it got me thinking.

I looked at my recent submission and realized that I'd been responding to folks comments quite often (honestly not considering the fact that every time I did, it was bumping my sub)... and then of course thought "oh crap."

I wish there were a way to respond to folks on an individual basis (like Threadless Mail or something). I don't like letting comments go unresponded to if I have something to say but it's obvious that the Threadless community has a pretty good idea of how much is 'too much' as far as bumping your own subs (consciously or not)

So Threadless... get on the Threadless Mail :) haha.
And sorry to all those people out there who got annoyed by the 10 or so comments out of 43 that are my own :p

[edit: make that 15/43 *eep!]

In attempt to alleviate the pressure from 'shameless plugs' on my previous blog post [sarcasm] about Your Submission Personality, I've gone ahead and started a new blog for shameless plugs (wasn't that nice of me?)

Plug away. Plug anything. Your favorite nose hair trimmers, favorite porn site, Threadless sub, your etsy shop, your ebay store where you're systematically selling off all of your grandmothers underwear, your MySpace page.. do it. Do it now.

For the last two days, I've refreshed my submission (see below) page more times than I can count. I watch the vote numbers go up by 1 or 2 and find myself sad and thinking of ways I can better promote my sub when nothing happens for more than 5 mins. I refresh my page when I get home from work, when I wake up in the morning, when I come out of the bathroom or return to my computer after being away for any length of time.

So my question is... are you submission type:

a) refreshes your page 10,000 times per day for seven days, wondering how people are voting, thinking maybe you should have changed something but it's too late now, considers suicide when you get no votes for any period greater than 10mins (by the way.. I've never done that), lets the confidence you have in your design fluctuate with every refresh depending on how many votes/comments you just got, calls your grandmother requesting that she and all of her red hat friends vote but freaks out when she tells you she doesn't know how to use a computer, swears to yourself and your housemates that you've stopped caring because you know you're not going to win but taps that refresh button one more time and then asks if your friends know anyone that could maybe vote, watches all of the incoming subs on a daily basis (especially for LOVES contests) to see how good or bad they are 'compared to yours.' Or asks your friends on MySpace with high friend counts to drop a plug in for you... ignoring of course your best buds with only 12 friends on their profile because well, it's just not worth it or better yet gets upset with folks on MySpace with 12,000 friends (which you consider a good 10,000 extra votes) because they don't allow HTML comments which ultimately means you can't plug your sub.

or

b) submits your design knowing that you'll win and doesn't check back but once during the seven days (if but only to reaffirm what you already know...... that your design rawks)

or

c) (as ISABOA pointed out) submits your design assuming you've got no chance in hell so what's it matter anyhow you're just doing it for fun.

which are you??

Hahaha. I'm a complete moron. But I suppose that's what I get for working on designs at 1am.

I posted a sub last night for the Cranium WOW! competition titled "A Date with RGB"

As I working on the design last night, I originally had red, YELLOW and blue... primary colors right?! Right. And somewhere along the way, I was looking at color wheels online and started to second guess myself. How can you second guess PRIMARY COLORS?! HAHAHA.

So like an idiot. I changed it to red GREEN and blue and even went so far as to comment about 'primary colors being a simple idea yadda yadda yadda."

Besides the fact that I'm going to get cremated by the threadless members for being a moron, it (that one damn color) is going to kill my shirt. And lack of resubmissions makes it impossible to fix. *lesigh. And I thought I was on to something.

Maybe it's still got a chance as it is. Maybe.

[note to self] No more designs at 1am.

I'm new at this so a 3.3 is a great score (I'm happy with it)!
Now I just hope that enough people scored it with a "$" that threadless and the SXSW crew will decide to print it!!
Oh the horror of having to wait another month and a half to find out!
Thanks again.
