I am trying to do a presentation for my Comp-Lit class and I was trying to remember the name of a short story so that I could present on that. It was one of the magical realism stories and involved a storyteller who got paid to make up a word that described each person perfectly so that it was that person's word only. A political figure may have kidnapped her and either wanted to hear his word or for her to write a speech for him. Does this sound familiar at all? The author may be Isabel Allende, but I'm not sure. It was definitely a South American writer.

i just got back from week long vacation in cape cod, and then a bishop allen concert in cambridge last night. who did i find at that concert? Kevinwells' twin! I swear, he was exactly like him. he had the same hair and he also happened to be quite funny. kevin, if you're looking for your long lost sibling, you should look around the boston area.

the concert was amazing. i was front and center infront of the stage. the teeth played first, then page france, and then bishop allen. all bands did well. i'd recommend seeing all of them, but tonight is the last night of this tour.

perhaps some pictures of the bands to come
