"An approaching storm system originating from the Gulf of Alaska will reach the central California interior Saturday... bringing much colder temperatures and even the chance for showers. The best chance for precipitation will be over the mountains north of Kern County... where moisture will fall as snow as low as 8000 feet elevation. Precipitation amounts are expected to be relatively light. Valley locations along and north of a Coalinga to Visalia line may also receive <i>sprinkles or light showers</i> beginning Saturday."<br />
