i've never had, in the almost 6 years that i've been a member, an honest to god threadless sighting in real life that didn't involve a family member or friend who i'd turned on to threadless myself.

the crazy thing is i nearly wore that shirt today!
instead i wore joe's other shirt, clouds within thunder, and i had the wishbone hoodie on too.

dude had no clue.

also, it's been awhile since i've mainly been lurking lately.

also, you had no way of knowing, but i dropped & shattered the last latch top bell jar. these old ones are hard to find that still latch & seal! this is awesome!

sorry it took me a little bit to get this blog up. it was fun opening the package christmas day. i'm glad that i did, so that i could share all that fudge with everyone and to save the risk of them finding me in a sugar coma & a danger to myself.

the tea, the tea, the tea is amazing!
the caramel is really good, but that coconut takes the prize.
everything was so much fun & that cookbook is the best!

hanging out at my front door, i was surprised it was here already!

and now the fun part!

upon opening the lid i am greeted by the sweet smell of mint.
it smells amazing!

oh man oh man oh man!

this is amazing!
i have a weakness for all things cadbury,
and the local chocolate looks ah-mmm-azing!

the mint balls are ace!
if just for the tin alone!
i can't wait to try them!

i'm going right out today and buying a roll of rolos so i can do a taste comparison of uk vs us rolos!

i have found the source of that amazing mint smell!
i thought it was uncle joe's balls, but no!

i'm a bit intimidated.
the back of the package says it was first carried to the summit of mount everest by sir edmund hillary on may 29th, 1953.

with a quote testifying to eating the bar while looking down upon country below and lamenting the fact they didn't have more of the mint cake.

the old ads and household tips are incredible.
