What's with all the racist and prejudice based designs showing up on Threadless.. Are the judges here saying this is acceptable material?

Allowing these only sends a message to children that its okay to think this AND to submit more of same.

NOT.

DaddyDom puts up White Supremist crayons, and Myke_MLA puts up a NoHomo shirt. Moo Goo Gai Pan is NOT even remotely funny.

What's with this garbage Threadless?

I'm looking for info on how the judging and scoring process works, and since there isn't a search feature on the blog, it's going to take a really long time to find answers to questions I have.

At what point do i see the kind of scores I'm getting on a design submission? after 100? after its 'disqualified' or qualified?

Why doesn't Threadless include a reprint # on shirts they reprint (or do they???)

If a shirt is reprinted, does the designer get a fresh cut on the new sales?

among the other questions I've had. Can anyone answer these?

thx

I'm somewhat concerned that honesty makes a lot of enemies. I guess I'd rather be totally honest about what i see. I expect no less on anything i put up. I live next to a large used clothing sop and I look at a LOT of crappy shirts while I look for the few that catch my eye and interest.

Not many make the cut, and I have to say that even most of the worst ass-like designs I've seen here are still way better than most of the crap that gets produced.

What i truly don't get is what motivates companies to make a shirt or jacket with their crappy logo that no one is ever going to wear off the work site. Why can't these ppl make shirts that are at least attractive and less useless. The biggest criminals here are film promo companies, beer companies, and touristy outlets.

With so many cool ideas out there, why put a text on something that totally renders it's value null?

Text isn't always bad, i used it on a shirt i hope gets approved to run, but mostly it detracts from the universal graphical message.

Anyway, I'm honest because as I prefer to hear honest thought out comments, ass or not, I'd like to see people strive to make their images meaningful as well as attractive.
