OK

So I've been designing a tshirt for here, which was all going dandy until I came to save the preview and thumbnail as a gif.

Uh-oh.

Basically, I found it vertually impossible to get it under 60kb (or so I thought). After I'd saved the file I'd check the size on my Mac by right clicking on the file name and selecting "get info". Here it tells you the file size, and so I thought that I had to make it super-crappy quality for it to be the right size.

Anyway, long story short, I also have a Windows PC in my house. So, figuring that something was up, I save the gif onto my pen drive, pop it into my Windows PC and guess what. It's now apparently only 11kb, when on my Mac it said it was 60kb.

Anybody understand what the he;;'s going on? Am I somehow mis-reading the info on my Mac? Because I find this very strange and annoying. Hmm.

Thanks to anyone who understands what I'm on about :)
