I'm redesigning my mp3/book blog, and I'm really sick of my terrible photoshopped slightly cool font on stock image header, and I'm pretty sure that I don't want another one like it.

Sooo...I turn to the talented designers at Threadless for help. I'd love it if you guys could make me a header! I don't have a lot of money (in fact, that reads: pretty much none). But here's what I can offer: my deep appreciation and love, a link/credit on my moderately traffic gaining blog, any street team points in the future, although that might be a while since I've got t-shirt overload right now (what with Oddica and their brilliant, gorgeous designs and the new, super large amounts of Threadless shirts), and if I have them, promos (CD's, posters) I get sent, and any other goodies I might come up with. I can't really draw, but I can make things and write things. So, that's that.

Interested? Now here are the details.

This is my blog, currently. This is kind of the layout I have in mind, although, obviously, the bugs and formatting will be fixed, the color scheme can be changed, the background/header still needs to be added, and really I'm still not all that decided on it...

Here are some mp3 blogs with headers I really, really like, to give you an idea:
Music is Art-this one is just gorgeous. I'm totally in love with that layout and I would rip it off if I could...
Fluxblog-Simple, adorable.
Music (for Robots)-a bit like Fluxblog, but again, different.

I'm totally open to any ideas, suggestions, pics, you might throw my way, though. Like I said, my graphic designing skills are pretty much non-existant.

If there are a lot of you (I'm guessing, unlikely), I'll pick my favorite and give you much much thanks. Anyway, comment here or email me: xbrokennightmarex (at) gmail (dot) com

Thanks, all!

Morbid artwork, controversial in itself, added with a large splash of copyright problems times 10 "oh snap!". I'm not trying to feed on other people's misery, but this is god send. God send. I've been reading all the comments for the blogs and now I can't resist it anymore. I'm a freelance writer and this is a killer story. And I really, really, really need to write it, whatever the story turns out to be.

So can I do it? I'll take on any angle and exploit every possible way. I'll pitch it to any publication. I'll write it on spec. I'll beg Threadless to feature it somewhere on the website, even just to clear up the accusations.

And even if this article ends up being shit and I make a big deal out of nothing and completely embarrass myself, at least I won't feel terrible for letting this opportunity slip through my hands. Okay. I'm being a little overdramatic. But this is such great material!

I promise you guys will be the first to read it when (or if) I get it done. I'll have to wait until the mystery is completely unveiled, of course, but I'm willing to do some snopping of my own. It'll be amazing. Pultizer prize material. Or whatever. Do I have your quotes and interviews and links, then?

If I made my own shirt like this one: http://www.glarkware.com/securestore/c181845p16493136.2.html

I just don't feel like paying 20 bucks for something that I can make myself. I don't plan on selling it or anything, and I'll draw my own hearts and letters, and it's not going to be professionally done (actually via this method: http://www.livejournal.com/community/craftgrrl/3674467.html)

Well, I'm sure at least some of you enjoy reading too. So who are some of your favorite authors/books?

I'm a horror frantic so my favorite writer is Stephen King, I've read almost all of his books (including the dark tower series). I also love Richard Matheson, Ray Bradbury, Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams. And yes, I am a Harry Potter fan but I hate Lord of the Rings.
