so over the last 4 days I have had to run around for 2 of the days straight going to dr. appointments and taking my wife to her last chemo

in the meantime someone who through a total lack of foresight on their own part has created a basically $650 cluster fuck for themselves. bummer and i said i would if i could / when i could try to help them try to figure the situation out

well...actually i don't know how to tell the story without elaboration..the someone is my bro.... and so my mom has been riding me (only eventually thinking to ask about how my wife is doing) about helping him out.... Now i like my mom WAAAAAAAAY more than most people but i kinda lost it with her.... first time since i was a teen had a yelling match on the phone about this.

sorry it isn't my fault my brother bought a $700 cellphone that got stolen 4 mos later (in motherf***ing China...who takes a US CDMA Phone to China????) that has $350 ETF from VZW and $250 ETF from Amazon....OUCH... so blah blah basically it is a $600 fuck up nothing I can do about it.... Only thing i can think of is to try to find a used one (that isn't esn blocked) on ebay..but that seems risky? Verizon amusingly says pay us $649 for a new phone or pay ETF and /or go F*** Yourself..so yeah...

I wished I could help...but WTF am I suppose to do about it...other than say ...Get the f***ing insurance next time????

found these little Realistic Minimus 77 speakers for $5 but the surrounds where ruined...so $6 (lol..more than the speakers) for new surround kit...and they sound pretty good.

so $5 for speakers + $6 (lol) for new surrounds ..and a bit of cleaning and glue later

and pretty decent sounding little bookshelf speakers
