I like to include obscured bits of info that can be interpreted differently from person to person.

Under the skull's left eye socket is the symbol for Pluto.
Under the skull's right eye socket is the roman numeral 13 (XIII)
Both of these are symbolic of death, the underworld, our unrestricted subconscious, etc.

Behind the bust is a horizontal sundial.
There's many different ways of drawing a sundial, but the one I used for reference fit nicely due to the statue blocking out the hours of 11 and 12.
The 11th hour is symbolic of "a time that is too late", or "at the last minute".
The 12th hour is the end which in this case refers to death.












As usual, I'll give away a couple $25GC if it ever prints.
