I have a ton of pretty buttons, including ladybirds, ponies, polka dot hearts, that kind of thing. I could use them to transform a really mundane item into something cute, but what? Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking about stringing them into a necklace, but I guess they would just flip round and it wouldn't look so great.
I just saw this advert on TV (but in English, the tagline is something like 'shake it to wake it'). Are they actively trying to appeal to furries? 'Stop rubbing one out to Lion King fan art for a minute and buy Orangina!' The girl is cute The boy is cute The song is cute Cassettes are cute The concept is cute Also cute are their accents when they talk, but they don't come out in song. Still, CUTE.

'It will be produced by 20th Century Fox and Universal Studios and directed by John Singleton, whose past credits include the films Boyz n the Hood, Shaft and 2 Fast 2 Furious. The film has been in development since the mid 1990s, going through a number of writers and story ideas, and being put on hold a number of times. Producer Stephen J. Cannell hopes to update the setting, perhaps using the first Gulf War as part of the backstory. The cast has not been revealed, though Singleton hoped Woody Harrelson will take on the role of Murdock, while Ice Cube has expressed interest in the role of B.A. Baracus. It also has been rumored that Bruce Willis is being considered for the role of John "Hannibal" Smith.' WRONG.

Coolest thing ever.
I totally fail at knitting, but I am making a laptop case anyway. I'm just doing one long strip and folding it over then stitching the two sides, but is there a special way to stitch knitting together?
Also, what are good things for a beginner knitter to make? I've done scarves, and am nearly done with my laptop case, what's the next rung on the ladder? Something simple, but still involving a challenge. Something I haven't had to do yet.
Has anyone seen this programme? It's on BBC3. I love it, they give make-unders to Page 3 wannabes and goths.
