Polar Bear Express - Threadless T-shirts, Nude No More

Hi All!

Just wondering what you experts think of this design. Its an idea i've had for some time now after hearing about the animated movie, "Polar Express". Let me know if you think this design has too much similarities with "The Golden Compass".

Still planning on adding details etc and polishing up the design but at this stage its still rough and i'd like to get some input on what you think.

I'd really like to hear what you have to say.

i love it the way it is (and am not sure if i'm qualified to critique) but since the polar express was a train, could penguins and or polar cubs be lined up and holding onto his feet or running after him in a line, like train compartments?
or that could ruin the simplicity of it. so never mind. it's beautiful

hmm..good point there downtownregis. But i'm not sure about adding more into the design tho. But let me think about it. How about a silhoutte of a train in the background slightly behind the characters so making it seem like the polar bear is on light speed and running faster than the train? And change the title to Polar Bear Express?

the "Express" text on the scarf kind of cheapens this, in my opinion. And the cartoony polar bear reminds me a bit too much of the Coca-Cola bears.
When i read the title, i thought of a postal service (e.g. the Pony Express). Maybe you could work that in, with the duo (or trio) delivering mail to the far north.

i was also thinking this could be a cool xmas tee - maybe aim it toward the Holiday season perhaps?

T-lou: hehe yeah. I was hoping to kill 2 birds with 1 stone with this number. we think alike!

Glad you like our collab. it was really fun working on it with FA and it is the complex design i've ever done to date. That's why this is quite simple. lol. Waayy easier to colour

@Bio-bot 9000: Hey dood. Based on your comment, I think i'll add a few more items in the design. Maybe a bag of clothes and stuff hanging off the polar bear sides or maybe on the back of the girl and maybe 1 or 2 items flying out or something.

new version with added snowflakes! Added the bag with some mail and other items, and also added more snow dust. Changed the scarf to a red stripey version instead of the cheap 'Express' word on it. haha. Thanks for the great feedback you all. I think i'll submit this one tonight, unless you have more ideas, opinions or suggestions
