Random Thought on Addiction

Random thought: Can masturbation become an addiction? And if so, why do people not consider the urge to do so as big a threat as drugs? The craving towards doing so is an altered state of mind.

well first of all, doing it too much can't kill you, like most physically addictive drugs can. second, it can't be physically addictive because you're not putting anything into your body. but it can be mentally addictive, just like anything else can be.

there actually are support groups for people addicted to sex, i think.

you do get a release from coming, so i supposed you could become addicted to that sensation, but more in a chocoholic way than an alcoholic. i don't think your body can become dependant on it!
