My take
I really like this shirt but my girlfriend had an issue with it. her take was that it glorified suicide.

I disagree. I think it means that even a tortured mind is capable of beauty.

I think it's interesting that this shirt causes so much discussion--like or hate it you have to admit that it's something special when it invites such debate.

I sort of took it as glorifying suicide, but in the best way glorifying suicide can be... I mean, as horrible as suicide is, the person commiting it is probably in a huge deal of pain. And in death, they can finally be relieved of that pain.

I SAW THIS T-SHIRT WORN ON EIGTH AVENUE IN MANHATTAN TODAY. IT IS THE FIRST TIME SINCE I HAVE BEEN BLOGGING HERE THAT I SEEN A THREADLESS SHIRT OUT IN PUBLIC- AND I SAID "THREADLESS" AND THE WEARER FINISHED WHAT HE WAS CHEWING AND SAID YEAH. THE SHIRT HAS ONLY BEEN OUT A LITTLE WHILE AND HE GOT IT SO SOON
