Girls Small for sale if anyone is interested. $12 and paid shipping and handling and it's yours! (some bartering/debate/haggling is more than welcome) I'm in southeastern PA (USA) if you're trying to make a rough estimate. Comment or leave me an email address and i'll be more than willing to discuss! about Fiesta Fiasco!
I just saw this design when I was browsing through the Tee-riffc photos, and the title made me think of the Lifter Puller album, Fiestas and Fiascos. I wonder if there is any significance? about It Makes Toast!
Okay, so my brother is all about Rube Goldberg designs and things of this nature, and I would TOTALLY get this shirt for him if I didn't find the color choices so offensive to my eyes. I mean, lime green on chocolate? Why, threadless?I sure hope this sells out fast so that it can be reprinted in a better color soon. I'll buy it then.
I was just curious if anyone knew the highest and lowest average scores for a design that has been printed.
I know Threadless is very subjective, and that what many people may score as good, the judges may not like and vice versa, but I just thought it would be interesting to see how low and how high the scores have gotten, just as a trivia game of sorts. Any threadless trivia whizzes?
I know this is not the first blog of this sort, but I just wanted to try this out:
I will score your subs and slogans, if you will return the favor. Comment to be scored. Thank You. about Permafrost Pollution
What is this Defunker website and why does it have threadless shirts on it? I saw this one as well as Nuts! on the site, and I was rather curious. They both say made by Threadless on the other site; is this foul play?
Now I would just like to know one little thing: Is there a reason why half of the type tees, if not more, are chock-full of grammar and spelling mistakes? I've visited the profiles of the users who submit slogans (I personally prefer to grade them from there so that I can see older slogans that may not be in current circulation) and I have yet to see anyone under the age of 14. What are they teaching these children in English class, then? Even the tee designs are riddled with errors, and excuse me for being harsh, but no matter how much I like your design you get an automatic 0 if anything is spelled incorrectly, has blatant grammar mistakes (such as the ever-common well/good issue) or apostrophe misuse. I don't mean to say that I am perfect, I know very well that I am not, but is it too much to ask that one proofreads their work before submitting it? It just makes me furious that a person can be intelligent enough to design a tee-shirt using computer programs that I definitely can't navigate, and yet they don't know which "your" to use.
Here's a tutorial of basic mistakes: Your - implies possesion, such as: I saw that man steal YOUR watch. You're - a contraction of "you" and "are" - as in: YOU'RE never going to believe what he said next. They're - a contraction of "they" and "are" - as in: THEY'RE going to be at the beach all weekend. Their - a possesive formation of the term "they" - as in: THEIR dog tends to bite. There - an adjective describing the location of something - as in: THERE lies the body of Mrs. Hugginbottom. It's - a contraction of "it" and "is" - as in: IT'S a delightful day to play mini-golf. Its - a possesive formation of the term "it" - as in: The dragon was so fierce that no one dared enter ITS cave which leads us into... APOSTROPHES Apostrophes are used in cases of possesion and contractions. Julia's horse - singular possessives. This term implies that we are talking about the horse owned by Julia. Jesus's throne - singular possessive ending in s This term shows that we are talking about the throne owned by Jesus. NOTE that even though the last letter of Jesus is an s, an apostrophe is still followed by an s when it is used to show possession. Farmers' Market - plural possessive This term shows that the market is that of the farmers. Because "farmer" is used in a plural form which happens to be made by adding an s to the noun, only an apostrophe is added. Children's love - plural possesive not ending in s Though "children" is plural, it does not end in s in its plural form, thus meaning that the apostrophe is placed after the noun and proceeded by an s. That's the end of my rant for now, though I wish there would be a sort of test on this required upon making an account here at threadless. |
I like music, a lot. Clothes and friends and happiness as well. This is probably why I like Threadless so much.
