I've noticed how cut throat some people are on this thing...and they probably just vote zero on anything thats even slightly less than fantastic. its kind of funny because I usually try to make my comments positive or if I critisize a submission, i try to do it politely... alot of the time i'll offer some advise as to how I would improve their artwork. I'll give them a 2 or 3 even if i'm not really into the art just because i want them to continue on with the competition and get a full weeks worth of feedback from people. am I wrong in doing this? should i be mean and nasty? haha

ive entered quite a few submissions here and I'm not saying they're hot shit or anything but i dont think the majority is total shit... why can't i get past a 2.09? heck, alot of my submissions are below 1.75..... and that's depressing. so all of you artsy folks out there.. c'mon, be my friend and tell me how i can make my submissions eye catching... give me some pointers... i'm not really expecting to get anything printed but i'd just like to have a submission where i dont get alot of rude comments! :)
