Curious about this one: When designing a tee, do you consider the wearer's gender? Or, do you often design "unisex" tees?

I think most tees on here are "unisex". The only gender consideration I take into account is when I'm figuring out design placement. I try not to place any circular or other weird objects directly over the boobies.

pretty much 100% of the shirts I see designed here are unisex

once I tried printing my hands directly onto a shirt, but they wouldn't fit through the screen.

I think girls are more likely to wear masculine tees than boys are to wear girly ones. I would say it's dangerous to use pink, although that pink flamingo design was recently printed.

One thing I've wondered is what percentage of voters are girls v. the number of boys. I feel like the majority of bloggers are boys, but I don't know.

Gay Pride is being reprinted this week, and there seems to have been quite a few guys purchase that, so give it a run and see.

Erica, I also wonder about the voter diversification of boys versus girls. There are designs I give a 1 or 2 that, in my mind, are more "masculine" and something I wouldn't necessarily wear. Then there are others that I also deem "masculine," but give them a 4 or 5 because I recognize the passion and detail that went into creating that shirt. Just because I wouldn't buy the shirt doesn't mean it shouldn't be printed. It's quite the opposite.

Threadless is like Australia in respect to it's boy to girl ratio.

I don't think that's really true; I just liked the comparison.

I'm less concerned with how designs lay on my boobs, and more concerned with how well that accentuate my penis. 'Cause I think it deserves more attention.
