Nope. In Scotland we don't go bobbing for apples at halloween, we go dooking for apples. Hence, and shot spell in water is dooking.

I was thinking it must have been a canal, because otherwise surely youd notice your feet getting wet. Unless she was wearing waders, but I think thats highly unlikely.
