I learned about threadless about a year ago... I cant remember where. I never signed up until sometime around feb. though because I had no way of buying anything. I have referred two people here though.. go me...

I just found out about it in March or April when I was on craftster.org and somebody used a stencil of Flowers In The Attic on a messenger bag made of duct tape and they said that they used a design they'd seen on this site, and now I own several shirts and am obsessed with this site.

Incidentally, I didn't buy Flowers in the Attic.

Something like 6 months ago on the links page of a friend of a friend.

A while ago I was reading a UK dance music mag called DJ Magazine and it had an article on another t-shirt web site, which I forget the name of. Anyway, I had a look at the site and wasn't that fussed on their designs, but they had a link to the Threadless site - the rest, as they say, is history...

Back in my unicorn collecting days (last fall), my friend bought me Afternoon Delight. I loved the shirt, even though it had a tiny hole in the back, and wore it with pseudo gay pride to various redneck strip clubs.



Upon reading the tag, I decided to visit the site. However, the tag was misprinted & read headless.com. Needless to say, I figured out the correct address & immediately signed up to submit several pieces of crap.



It's been a love affair ever since.

well, my friend's brother is a design major at UCLA and he heard about it from other designers. My friend came back and told his closest circle of friends. It became this big secret where people would ask "hey that's an awesome shirt. where'd you get it" and the generic answer would always be "oh... um, on the internet" because we didn't want anybody to buy our shirts. The secret's kinda out now though.
