English question for a slogan

Hello all,
I need help on a slogan...
Is it correct to say in english:
An apple a day keeps the doctor away...but you have to aim correctly.

It doesn't sound good, but I don't know where I did a mistake.

Although most slogans usually fall under the grammatically correct group, I usually don't get myself too bent out of shape about grammar. I'd just make sure the slogans have a bit of humour or something in them, and make sure they "flow."

For the slogan you got up there, it sounds great, the only thing I'd watch is "the apple a day" slogan idea has been slightly overused already.
