I've got a big, multilayered Illustrator file, and when I try to import it into Flash, it mostly works but there are strange "filled-in" areas that seem to get messed up in the process. Anybody know anything about this?

Yo Moglandor, hmmm I had this problem before. I think you have too many vectorized images that you created on Illustrator causing it to delay and causing those weird white blocked areas to pop up. You might try creating shapes in the Flash graphic area to eliminate delays and those weird white blocks.

I found a decent work around. In Illustrator you can export as a Flash file. If you then import this, it seems to work perfectly.

I was importing a pure Illustrator file from inside of Flash - and that didn't work out so good for large, complex files.

Have you tried just copying and pasting? If you set Illustrator's clip board to save as curves it works like a charm most of the time. Remember that the current version of Flash can't handle complex fills like patterns, that may also be your problem.
